All images are of Anita Cocktail campmates both on and off playa. No visibly identifiable persons or Burning Man art installations (besides my campmates, the man, and the temple) are featured in this gallery page.

Kenji Matsumoto snapped the pic of me that I decided would be the only photo published; completing the final chapter, it sits along on the very last page of my book. Here we are, post Burning Man, clean and happy, maybe sharing a drink or two during one of our few but very meaningful hangouts.

Pausing for a photo during a procession. If you look closely, you can see some of my campmates holding up photographs that we later hung on the temple. The man stands behind us, towering strong as our backdrop.
Someone’s doing all the work around here…
Anita Cocktail was a gateway to international participation. Kareem, a Saudi national and one of the sweetest humans I’ve ever met, quickly became like a younger brother to me (left to right): Kareem, Justin, and me.

“Burning Man is not a destination, it’s a state of consciousness.” ~ Myst
Creating a camp at Burning Man gave me the remarkable honor of feeling seen and being loved by many campmates from around the world. Lucas, from Eastern Australia, gives me an impromptu head kiss just as a photographer was passing through a late night playa crowd.
This photos was taken a few hours before we all got arrested. Dressed appropriately for the occasion (left to right): me, Jess, Timmy, Raz, Roslyn, and Chris.
A few days after being arrested… lesson not learned (left to right): Roslyn, me, Chris, Timmy, Raz, and Jess.
Parked on the street of my West Hollywood apartment, me and Jess are living our best lives in the luxurious Moose.
This is why I love Jess so much, always bursting with joy.
Me and Danya greeting a playa sunrise; looking very good for 6:00AM.
The evolution of Myst.
Kristin and I pretending to be hardcore Burners with attitudes.
Ra-ra, ah-ah-ah! Me and a stranger having fun at Anita Cocktail’s bar before we had a sound system and large crowds. *This is the only content that I’ve used without knowing the human in it, if you know who is standing next to me, please let me know.*
I Love James.
