All images are of Anita Cocktail campmates both on and off playa. No visibly identifiable persons or Burning Man art installations (besides my campmates, the man, and the temple) are featured in this gallery page.

The early years of Anita Cocktail. A small shade structure and two tiny bars secured our humble beginnings.

Driving the big rental truck from Denver to Black Rock City.
Me and Kristin giving some slacker a stare down.
Kenji Matsumoto snapped a picture of me that I decided would be the only photo published in my book; completing the final chapter, the photo sits alone on the very last page. Here Kenji and I sit, post Burning Man, clean and happy, maybe sharing a drink or two during one of our few but very meaningful hangouts.
The infamous avocado tree in Maui.
NYC Anita Cocktail crew celebrating me a few days before I moved to Australia (left to right): Beau, Melissa, me, Marc, Renzo, and Luis.
Organizing Anita Cocktail from my dining room table in the New York City garden level apartment.
Pausing for a photo during a procession. If you look closely, you can see some of my campmates holding up photographs that we later hung on the temple. The man stands behind us, towering strong as our backdrop.
Someone’s doing all the work around here…
Anita Cocktail was a gateway to international participation. Kareem, a Saudi national and one of the sweetest humans I’ve ever met, quickly became like a younger brother to me (left to right): Kareem, Justin, and me.
Wearing a very clean fuzzy vest that was gifted to me by Raz (left to right): me, Monz, and Kim.
One of the many orange signs that brought color and contemplation to Anita Cocktail’s interactivity spaces.
Royal treatment. I’m drinking a cold-one while being elevated by Benny and Lucas. This picture was taking at a wedding in Western Australia.
One of the highlight cuddles of my lifetime (left to right): Jess, koala, me, and Franky.
Who knew that I’d have such a familiarity with rebar? #desertlife

“Burning Man is not a destination, it’s a state of consciousness.” ~ Myst
Creating a camp at Burning Man gave me the remarkable honor of feeling seen and being loved by many campmates from around the world. Lucas, from Eastern Australia, giving me an impromptu head kiss just as a photographer was passing through a late night playa crowd.
This photos was taken a few hours before we all got arrested. Dressed appropriately for the occasion (left to right): me, Jess, Timmy, Raz, Roslyn, and Chris.
A few days after being arrested… lesson not learned (left to right): Roslyn, me, Chris, Timmy, Raz, and Jess.

The evolution of Myst.
Kristin and I pretending to be hardcore Burners with attitudes.
Ra-ra, ah-ah-ah! Me and a stranger having fun at Anita Cocktail’s bar before we had a sound system and large crowds. *This is the only content that I’ve used without knowing the human in it, if you know who is standing next to me, please let me know.*
I Love James.
Getting hugged after a full day of adventuring around the playa. Cameron, playa known as “Marsha, Marsha, Marsha” (due to his long blonde Brady Bunch hair), retaliated by consistently calling me, Jan, his envious younger sister.
More hugs, this time with Libra kinship, Jo Jo.

Wondering if we made the right decision (of course we did!) to attempt the Renegade Burn. Wearing a Bunnings high-vis tank top (singlet) for safety purposes.
Setting-up Camp Anita during the 2021 Renegade Burn included our very own porta potties!
Brandon on the drum, Kat and I standing by for a count-in to start singing during one of our temple procession gathering.
